The Timberwolf Retreat is our skylight suite, featuring a Jacuzzi-tub-for-2 under a large skylight set into vaulted red oak ceilings.  The Timberwolf Retreat has a kingsize bed drenched in elegant golden linens and topped with feather pillows.  The sitting area has big squishy comfy chairs, a 31" TV with DVD/CD player and a balcony over the stream with a view of the mountainside.

The Curve of the Creek Suite is our fireplace suite, and has its own private den with fireplace (and firewood!) and an overstuffed leather reclining sofa, plus a flat screen TV with DVD/CD/VCR and a wet bar.  The Jacuzzi-tub-for-two is romantically placed in a bedroom alcove, reached by steps crafted from our own timber.  The kingsize bed was created by a local craftsman and is covered with down comforter and beautiful hand-pieced lodge quilt.


Your honeymoon begins with a late check-in (we know how those receptions linger on) and a bottle of bubbly awaits you in your own fridge.  The Timberwolf Retreat has a tree house atmosphere:  this second-story suite has a balcony view across the creek and the pasture, and up the mountainside.  The Curve of the Creek Suite has that same view (first floor) from both the private den and from the bedroom as well.


Lights are low, fill your champagne glasses and toast each other in your Jacuzzi bathtub-for-two in the moonlight.  A bowl of fresh rose petals sits by your tub to scent the bath water.  A pair of luscious hand-dipped chocolate truffles awaits on the nightstand.


Next day, start your morning with a lavish candlelit breakfast.  On warmer mornings, your breakfast is served on the South Deck overlooking the creek as it tumbles by in a series of little waterfalls.  Cooler mornings brings breakfast indoors, but the marvelous view of the stream is the same, and a welcoming fire will be burning in the common-area fireplace.


Spend your day touring The Great Smoky Mountains, hiking to a waterfall, rafting the whitewater, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, or going horseback riding.  Two more days and nights of adventure await you!  Explore the national parks, or try your luck at Harrah's Casino, or take in a little Bluegrass music.  


Choose one night for your  special dinner out at our favorite restaurant.  The extensive menu includes prime rib, crab-stuffed flounder, and an excellent selection of Greek and Italian specialties.
